A Belief in God
The choice is yours to believe or not to believe. God allows us that option to choose. Evil, or Satan, does not. That is Scriptural. You have the option to read about that.
So, what is my belief, my choice to believe? I believe that God loves us all because he created our souls. We are all precious to Him.
If you are curious about how I will expand on this thought, read on. If not, it is your choice to go on to something else.
Belief Requires Faith
“In faith, believing”, see Matthew 12:22. This reference is tied to prayer.
Why do we or should we pray? First, we cannot control everything within our environment. A lot depends on the decisions and actions of others. So, I pray for favorable decisions and actions. We are given a promise that our prayers will be answered according to our faith, our believing.
We should work to add value to what we know and what we can do. There will be benefit to ourselves, for sure, but there will be much more value in our life if we are willing to give to others something they can value, such as kindness when they hurt, food when they are hungry, or advice when they feel lost. That, too, is worth praying for.
Your faith will grow as you see your prayers answered. With an act of faith, you will see the effect of your prayers. Be thankful, not boastful, when you know. After all, it was not you that caused that to happen.
Learn of His Ways
We all have our own perception of what our lives should look like, our goals and expectations. However, each day is affected by our attitude, our actions, and how we interact with others.
Our belief system is important. That will reflect in our attitude. Are we looking out for ourselves at the expense of others? That is, do we have a selfish attitude? Do we act on our own interests with no regard to the needs and feelings of others? Will we not value those around us?
Remember, we need others to succeed. Scripturally, we are told that we must give to receive. Also, we are told that “His ways are higher than our ways” (Isaiah 55:9).
Therefore, I am suggesting that you try to solve this mystery by learning of His ways.
Our Capacity and Willingness
Our capacity to learn is only limited by our willingness to learn and apply what we learn.
While you are considering the new year, I would invite you to reflect on your own capacity to learn. How willing are you to help yourself grow in learning?
Others react positively to kindness shown in respect to their limitations. They deserve to be seen as being just as valuable as you, especially in the sight of God.
It can be tough not to react poorly to the careless actions of others. That is why I feel it will be important as a part of your plan to build a better mindset for money to realize the value of others. They could help lead you to a better future.
Read Good Books
To increase your capacity to know, you must read many good books, especially the Good Book, The Bible.
Value good advice. There is a lot of wisdom shared by writers. And a lot of them refer to the Bible verses that will enlighten the reader. Wisdom comes from patience with others and should be treasured and not ridiculed. The potential for good should be acknowledged.
We all make some poor decisions along the way. Though we may not see the errors until we realize some pain from those poor decisions.
The value of wisdom, good advice, and forgiveness will become even greater as we seek a way to recover from a humiliating experience.
Reading will help us be more sensitive and reflective when we do come across helpful words.
So, read good books that will help you feel better and be better. That will help your relations with others and cause others to be a help to you.
Be Willing to Share
I am thankful you have chosen to read this post. My hope is to help you build a better mindset for money. A lot of what I say relates to your ability to survive. However, I want you to do more than survive, I want you to succeed, to experience financial freedom!
One of the most important elements of that process is the way you feel about and react to others. It is hard to get beyond the reaction others will have to your actions.
My advice is simple. Most of your success will come from within yourself.
Ideas that can help you generate income will come from reading, study, and formal education. Allowing your mind to reflect on your learning will help you plan for what to do next.
Building self-control in your spending, living within your income, being humble about what you can afford to do, these are words of wisdom.
We must give to receive. To be loved we must first show love. There are those around you that are valuable to you, without regard to finances. Show them how much you care for them being in your life.
It is my belief that you have the capacity to learn some wisdom by reading good books that will make you valuable to others. Your sharing will become a blessing to both you and them!
